DevNet Rewards
Summary
DevNet is an opportunity for users to experience the Stakehouse protocol in a sandbox environment. Prior to mainnet, these are the only users who have hands-on experience with functionalities and the UI related to Stakehouse mainnet and Common Interest Protocol. It is in the best interest of the DAO to keep this group of individuals engaged throughout the governance process.
Background
Blockswap DAO is striving to attain meaningful decentralization of the BSN token. To do this the DAO is looking to onboard those who are intimate with its first protocols, Stakehouse and Common Interest Protocol. Some of these users were those who participated in DevNet. The users are denominated by NFTs delivered on Rinkeby testnet or have contributed in other ways. DevNet participants helped Blockswap DAO in two main categories.
- Provided critical testing data for Blockswap to understand how Stakehouse functions in a live environment. It also provides data on how Stakehouse will be used by its mainnet users.
- DevNet educated a subset of users on how to use Stakehouse protocol prior to mainnet. These users have the longest-running experience with the current version of Stakehouse.

Motivation and Specification
Stability and decentralization are the focus of community governance. With that in mind, the objective is to increase decentralization and develop a thriving community of self-aligned users to participate in governance for Blockswap Network’s protocols and mission.
In the best interest of the DAO and Blockswap Network, those who helped test the Stakehouse protocol can receive BSN tokens. These users have shown early conviction by operating a permissionless tokenized DevNet to simulate the protocol’s contract in a sybil-resistant real-world scenario.
DevNet participants will have the ability to claim the BSN allocated to them.
Conclusion
This is an exciting opportunity to onboard DevNet protocol users into the Blockswap DAO. They have played a pivotal role in testing the protocol and could play a key role in educating the masses about Stakehouse.
