At Aya, we aim to bridge the knowledge gap and create a supportive environment for Africans to participate in solo staking. We propose the creation of content in the form of articles, tutorials, videos, and interactive guides to educate and empower individuals across Africa.
Objectives:
- Educate Africans about solo staking: We will produce comprehensive and beginner-friendly content that explains the concept, benefits, and risks of solo staking. Our materials will address common misconceptions and provide step-by-step guidance on how to get started.
- Foster financial literacy: We will emphasize the importance of financial literacy and responsible investment practices, ensuring that individuals have the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed decisions when participating in solo staking.
- Encourage widespread adoption: Through engaging content, we will demonstrate the potential financial benefits of solo staking and motivate Africans to actively participate in the crypto economy, ultimately driving its adoption across the continent.
We have an Aya LSD network setup using a safe multisig to get more partners join our mission. We spent almost $120 to set up this LSD and would love to get a rebate from Blockswap in form of BSN tokens. Ethereum Transaction Hash (Txhash) Details | Etherscan
We want to get more Africans involved, but we acknowledge the cost of fees when interacting on the mainnet. We are happy to get more interactions on the Layer 2s.

We are asking for $500 in BSN tokens and plan to use this to:
- Reward our community for bridging dETH to L2s ($250)
- Create more content and tutorials ($250).

Thank you for considering our proposal. We are available for any further clarifications or discussions. We look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of solo staking in Africa.

What is your reach, how big is your community and how many members are activily looking for this solution?
We have a 10,000+ newsletter, combined socials of 7,000 and a 1,500+ discord builder community. As regards those that are actively looking, this is a new concept in the African market and not many even know about the process based on our research.

Thanks for joining the community and starting to create content for the ecosystem.
Repayment for your gas costs on mainnet to get your LSD network live is something the Grants council can pay quickly as this is something already approved by the community.
The reward for your community bridging to L2s sounds great. Which L2 are you thinking of focusing on? Right now the community doesn’t have any active token campaigns / partnerships with L2s, but we’re looking for these now and are open to suggestions.
Can your team create content / a tutorial for how to bridge dETH to the chosen L2?

Thanks @Kentphilly for your message and happy to hear that the grants council will be happy to repay the costs.
We are happy to create content around bridging dETH to a chosen L2. Or goal is to demystify staking which currently seems like a very highly technical task.

The Grants council is happy to pay you back for your transaction fees. This will ben sent to your wallet shortly.
The Grants Council would also like to pay you more BSN, $200 - $500 in USD value of BSN, for using the Bribe Marketplace to attract ETH stakers to Aya’s Liquid Staking Network.
Here is the website to use to reward (aka bribe) ETH holders to stake their ETH through your LSD Network and earn BSN for doing so.
Here is the documentation.
This was created by the community member @JohnBrown so please let him know if you have any technical questions or ask in Discord.
We’re excited to help your Aya organization and the African community to stake ETH in self-custody with full control and zero fees through Stakehouse.
