[Temp Check] - BSN Community Education

Introduction

This proposal is Part 1 of Blockswap x the rollup DAO success program. The purpose is to establish partnership between Blockswap and the rollup for a 3-month community education initiative. The DAO success program is a series of community initiatives and integrations to catapult Blockswap productivity through on-chain and off-chain coordination. The rollup has contributed to several DAOS through this program and we are excited to add Blockswap to our growing network of partners.

Community Education

First, Community education - our bread and butter. We propose quite a few forms of content, such as threads, Spaces, videos, AMAs, and podcasts. We coordinate the timeline of this content around Blockswap’s roadmap items to amplify reach and activate viewers to stake. The rollup has 25,000+ subscribers across Twitter, Youtube, Spotify, and our email newsletter. We also coordinate with power users communities like L2DAO to co-market special programs like NFTs and alpha drops. L2DAO has 10,000 Discord members and another 35,000 twitter followers in reach.

Let’s just say we want to see Blockswap hit the 1000 validator mark (soon™️ ).

Content Production:

  1. BlockSwap video posted on the rollup website, Youtube, and sent to the rollup newsletter explaining the advantages and use case of the product. Production includes intro session, dApp demo, explaining liquid staking, and value proposition of BlockSwap network.
  2. Twitter threads in depth updates, yield opportunities, promotions. 1 thread on overview of data/stats from BlockSwap. Thread on strategies & outlook on roadmap items and partner integrations. Intro project thread ‘alpha leak’ from KOL account.
  3. Twitter clips posted from all interviews and podcasts and retweets/engagement on any content around for further amplification.
  4. Twitter space AMA for broadening awareness, LSN incentives, and strategic industry partnerships with other notable DeFi protocols/LSD providers
  5. Podcast about LSDs, blockspace, MEV, re-staking, and Blockswaps USP

Engagement and Visibility

  • Website marketing - Banner marketing, promotions, Pop up adverts, logo, and links on therollup.co
  • Omnichannel Content Posting - Lens, Spotify, YouTube Twitter, Website, LinkedIn for all content we do together and reposting content and sharing across media partners
  • Viewer activation - Collaboration with the BSN community to create UTM links which point to strategic touchpoints on BSN and create CTAs via quests and promotions to convert viewers into users.

My 2 cents:

  • Twitter account doesn’t exist anymore
  • Youtube videos has around 50 views.

Where is the value?

What’s great though is that there are a lot of interviews with a lot of noteworthy people.

I also think that the content quality is really good which the DAO can reuse for education.

If you join Discord Robbie is proposing a KPI based approach which might help with your concerns.

KPI-based Compensation: 500,000BSN

The Rollup will set up our own LSD Network and UTM links to track ETH inflow into Stakehouse from community education initiatives. The KPI-based compensation is paid based on how much ETH is staked in The Rollup LSD Network. If the amount of ETH in The Rollup LSD Network is greater than or equal to 50 ETH, Blockswap DAO will distribute 500,000 BSN. Any amount less than 50 ETH is pro-rated.

1 validator = 32 ETH staked. I propose to set up KPI target goal minimum 64 ETH (2 validators) in The Rollup Stakehouse.

Yeah let’s go for it. Based on how much of the KPI is met, its smoother if we can earn pro-rate the total reward. For example say, the rollup Stakehouse brings in 63.9 ETH. The minimum amount would compensate zero KPI reward. I think 64 ETH is reasonable to gauge the pro-rate amount of KPI reward.
